تستضيف مؤسسة الحوار الانساني بلندن يوم الاربعاء المصادف 30/9/2015 الدكتور ماجد الياسري في أمسية ثقافية يسلط فيها الضوء على الانعكاسات النفسية للتطرف و الاٍرهاب و احتلال محافظات عراقية والمشاكل النفسية لملايين النازحين.
الدكتور ماجد الياسري طبيب استشاري في الصحة النفسية ، تخرج من كلية الطب / جامعة بغداد عام ١٩٦٩ ،تخصص في الصحة النفسية في بريطانيا وعمل طبيبا استشاريا منذ عام ١٩٨٢ حتى عام ٢٠٠٨ ، واستمر بعدها كمستشار في وزارة العدل البريطانية . عمل رئيساً لمركز الصحة النفسية و الاجتماعية كمنظمة مجتمع مدني اقامت مركزا لمساعدة ضحايا التعذيب في ٢٠٠٤ في بغداد . شارك في العديد من الزيارات لدعم و إسناد الخدمات الصحية النفسية في العراق التي رعتها اللجنة العراقية في الكلية الملكية البريطانية . حاليا يرأس المنتدي العراقي في بريطانيا.
Psychological views on Iraqi diaspora
This Wednesday 30th of September 2015 the HDF will be hosting Dr Majid al-Yassiri in a cultural evening where he will talk about the psychological effects of extremism, terrorism, the occupation of Iraqi lands and psychological problems for the millions of displaced people. Dr Majid al-Yassiri consultant physician in mental health,( MBChB, DPM, Dip Crim, FRCPsych).He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine / Baghdad University in 1969, specialised in mental health in UK and worked as a consultant ( 1982 – 2008), and then continued as a consultant at the British Ministry of Justice. He served as a head of the Mental and social Health Center which is an NGO to help victims of torture in 2004 in Baghdad. He participated in several visits to support and attribution of mental health services in Iraq sponsored by the Iraqi Committee in the British Royal College. Currently he is a head of the Iraqi Association in UK.
